his letter is in recommendation of Patrick DelDuca of ReMax, a truly excellent real estate broker working in the Niagara region. Patrick was instrumental in finding my wife and me a beautiful new home in Niagara Falls this summer. Relocating from BC to Ontario for reasons work, we had just a weekend to find a new place in which to live. Given that we were unfamiliar with the area, and being nervous first-time homebuyers, Patrick very wisely decided to show us forty houses from five different cities to give us a sense of what was available (the average being eight). Throughout these long, twelve-hour days, Patrick remained a consummate professional, answering all of our questions, and tirelessly ready to show us yet another house. In the end, all of Patrick’s hard work paid off: we found our dream home! Unfortunately, we then learned that it was scheduled for an open house the very next day. Jumping into action, Patrick called an immediate meeting with the seller and did not walk away until we had a signed, initial offer in hand. After the open house, we learned that three other couples would have bought our house if not for Patrick’s foresight. In most cases, the story would have ended right here: the deal had had been made, the closing date agreed upon, and sales commissions pretty much guaranteed. To my unexpected surprise, Patrick was just as helpful and energetic after the deal had closed as before. Back in BC after our very successful house hunting trip , and preparing for the big move to Ontario, we realized that we would be unable to witness the house closing in person. Patrick graciously volunteered to witness in our stead, following up with the builder on all unfinished work. When we decided we wanted the basement finished before we moved in, Patrick spent half the weekend measuring walls, faxing diagrams back to us in BC, and recommending wiring placements. He even took digital photographs of the work in progress and emailed them to us to review. One month later, when we finally took possession our house, everything was perfect. And since that day, we have not suffered a single instance of “Buyer’s Regret”. Thanks in no small part to the dedication and hard work of Patrick DelDuca. Thank you Patrick !
